.hide()

Hides the elements of the list.
Web module only.

Syntax

list.hide()

Parameters

the current list

Description

Hides the elements of the list. It does so by writing 'none' into the '$display' style. This is the same as calling set() with the property name '$$show' and the value 0.

Other properties that may hide elements, like '$visibility' or '$opacity', are not modifed by hide().

Example

Hiding elements:

$('.visible').hide();
